People Just Do Nothing returns for its fifth and final series next week. Here's your first look…

Hot on the heels of the news that People Just Do Nothing is getting a US remake from BoJack Horseman writer Mehar Sethi comes a first trailer for the fifth and final series of the award-winning OG UK affair.

Series 5 is set to get underway on 12th November on BBC Two at 10pm. Here’s what you can expect from the last run…

The series has come a long way since it began in 2012, and has been quite the inspiration, to be honest.

“We were about 24, and everyone else was working, and we hadn’t really achieved anything,” co-creator Allan Mustafa told The Guardian recently, detailing the crew’s refusal to give up in the early days. “We didn’t start out like, ‘This is going to be on telly and earn money’, we just did it. We were in shit, dead-end jobs, but we always made sure we were doing something creative.”

It’s time to say goodbye to People Just Do Nothing, but it’s been a great ride, so we can’t be too sad about it.
