“Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don’t plan it, don’t wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men’s store, a catnap in your office chair or two cups of good, hot, black coffee.”
Or maybe…something else?
Yes, for the ninth year in a row the UK Peakies will gather together to celebrate one of the most spectacularly bonkers TV shows of all time at the London Irish Centre in Camden’s Regency Terrace, which is set to become the surreal and beautiful town of Twin Peaks for one weekend only. We’re hoping to pop along this year to enjoy the festivities, and thought you might like to join us? If so, we’ve got all the details you’ll need.
This year, the organisers are planning for you to feel right at home in a Great Northern Hotel setting, with the option to take a Mulholland Drive jitterbug class (along with a screening of David Lynch’s 2001 masterpiece later). You’ll also get to have a better time in the Black Lodge than poor Dougie Jones – with any luck – and there’ll be a Tulpa Creatives art class for the craftier among you.

Live owls and One Eyed Jacks girls will welcome you to plenty of other experiences, including Lynch-inspired short film screenings, live burlesque performances, cabaret, and an art gallery featuring Blake Morrow’s ‘Return To Twin Peaks’ photos. Outside in Camden Square Gardens there will be a familiar train car, within which you’ll be offered a VR experience – enter that if you dare.
You can also pick up some official Twin Peaks Showtime merch, if you’re not too busy at the Q&A’s with stars Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran/Brennan), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Christa Bell (Tammy) and John Pirruccello (Deputy Chad – we’re still mad at him). One of Lynch’s fave songstresses, Rebekah Del Rio, will also be performing live on the Saturday.

There’ll be all the cherry pie, doughnuts and coffee you can manage to consume in one weekend (challenge accepted) and you can also get your picture taken in The Glass Box from The Return! What!
All this is taking place from 29th-30th September, and tickets are on sale now. The prices range from £85-£300, depending on how much cash you’re willing to splash.
See you there?
