The first official image has been revealed from Terminator 6 showing all three of the film’s lead characters. Mackenzie Davis takes centre stage alongside Natalia Reyes, but the biggest scoop for fans is seeing Linda Hamilton back as Sarah Conner – returning to the role 27 years after we last saw her in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Terminator 6 is directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool), with James Cameron initially attached as a producer. Crucially, the film is set to completely ignore everything that happened after T2 and pick up the timeline as if all those other sequels never happened. The Terminator timeline has never been that easy to follow anyway, so it doesn’t seem to matter too much – and the upside is the chance to see Hamilton back in action:

The image doesn’t reveal much about her role in the film yet, other than she’s still a shotgun toting badass – and that she clearly has a major role (which is more than can be said of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who didn’t make the promo shot and who is rumoured to only have a minor role).
Reyes, who plays new character Dani Ramos, is the human who gets caught up in everything – potentially as the main lead – and Davis looks suspiciously like a Terminator to us (complete with circuit board markings on her arm and chest)…
Terminator 6 is out November 2019.
