Sony is pressing ahead with a new reboot of Charlie’s Angels, that’ll bring the trio of crime fighters back to the big screen.
It was already known that Elizabeth Banks was going to direct the movie, and we now learn that she’s also going to take on the role of Bosley in the film. Furthermore, we also now know who the lead cast are.
The new Angels? Naomi Scott (soon to be Jasmine in Disney’s live action Aladdin movie), Kirsten Stewart and Britain’s own Ella Balinska.
The most recent draft of the screenplay for the movie has been penned by Jay Basu and Elizabeth Banks, and Sony is set to unleash the movie into cinemas next year. It has a release date of September 27th 2019.
