Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom arrived in UK cinemas at the beginning of June to fairly mixed reviews, none of which stopped it making over a billion dollars globally and counting, of course.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard returned as our favourite dino-ducking characters thingamajiggy and whatshername in this sequel to 2015’s sort-of-reboot to the Jurassic Park franchise and, along with a tantalising cameo from the wonderful Dr. Ian Malcolm – a.k.a. the legendary Jeff Goldblum – genetic dinosaur wizardry and popcorn-muching nonsense ensued. Who could resist?
In the end, cinemagoers tended to fall into four main groups of opinion where Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was concerned – those that loved the first half, but hated the second; those that loved the second half, but didn’t care for the first; those that really enjoyed the whole thing…and those that just thought it was all a bit naff.
Which one were you? Well, if you’ve clicked on this bad boy we’d wager you’re perhaps looking to have a(nother) look at it, regardless. If so, you’ll be happy to know the film will be available via digital here in the UK from 19th October, and on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and 4K UHD from 5th November, as a Bonfire Night treat.
Note: if you end up hating the film, please don’t sling it on the nearest raging fire – that burning plastic won’t half honk up the place.
Pre-orders are open now.
