David Leitch becomes the latest director to try and remake Enter The Dragon…

The long-nattered-about remake of Bruce Lee-headlined martial arts classic Enter The Dragon has popped up again at Warner Bros, as a fresh director has signed up for the project.

Previously linked to the likes of Spike Lee and Brett Ratner in the distant past, Enter The Dragon now has David Leitch on board. Most recently, he’s directed Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2, of course.

It’s still quite early days for the project. Leitch first has to make the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs And Shaw, after all. Furthermore, the hunt is now on for a writer to pen a screenplay for Enter The Dragon. We’re nowhere near the casting stage for the project yet.

As we hear more on the movie, we’ll let you know. But we wouldn’t expect it to film until the second half of next year at the earliest.
