Arriving in cinemas later this year is the new film produced by JJ Abrams, Overlord. This is a movie that’s been surrounded by speculation it’ll tie in to the Cloverfield series of films, with some still believing that what we’re looking at here is Cloverfield 4. Not that you get any indication of that from the promo we’re about to talk about.
Penned by Billy Ray and Mark L Smith, and directed by Julius Avery, the film follows a bunch of American paratroopers, who find themselves behind enemy lines on the eve of D-day, during World War II. They happen upon a village occupied by the Nazis, but when they get there? Er, things are a little on the odd side.
