Call Me By Your Name's Timothee Chalamet is heading to the Dune movie…

Denis Villeneuve is making progress with his adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune for the big screen, the project that he turned down a James Bond movie to make.

Filming is set to begin early next year on the hugely ambitious project, and we now learn of a crucial piece of casting. Timothee Chalamet, who sprung to fame in Call Me By Your Name (for which he earned an Oscar nomination), is in talks to take on the role of Muad’Dib in the movie.

Furthermore casting news can’t be too far away, and there’s chatter now – not confirmed – that Legendary Entertainment will be looking for Villeneuve to deliver the movie in time for a summer 2020 release

As we hear more, we’ll keep you posted…
