It’s taken its time, but Disney is finally pressing ahead with Frozen 2 in earnest. The sequel to the 2013 juggernaut has a release date in place of November 27th 2019, and directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are returning for the movie.
Furthermore, so is the bulk of the voice cast from the first film, specifically including Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff.
Variety has exclusively revealed that two new stars will be lending their voices to the upcoming sequel, which will no doubt make squillions of pounds and dish up a few new soundtrack earworms that will haunt us until the end of time. Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) are said to be joining in with the fun this time around.

Details of the pair’s roles in Frozen 2 are currently being kept under wraps, but no doubt all will soon be revealed by the well-oiled PR machine at Disney.
Can they sing? Oh, yes! Here’s Brown showcasing his pipes alongside Gad and Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman while promoting Marshall last year…
As for Wood, she’s established herself as quite the singer already, being one half of electro-pop pair Rebel And A Basketcase…
More as we get it.
