Now this looks great. Starring Jodie Foster, Sofia Boutella, Dave Bautista, Jeff Goldblum, Zachary Quinto and Charlie Day, Hotel Artemis is the feature directorial debut of Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation scribe Drew Pearce.
The film centres on the hotel of its title, described as “an ultra-exclusive, members-only hospital hidden in a hotel redolent of faded ‘20s glamour”. It’s all overseen by Foster’s The Nurse, and the hotel boasts “an unexpected state-of-the-art emergency room capable of providing a new liver with a 3-D printer or injecting a patient with nanobots that heal from the inside out”.
Which is all fine, until one night, a particularly legendary criminal comes in needing help. And that’s all we’re telling you about this brand new sci-fi thriller, because it’s the kind of film that’s a lot of fun to discover.
What’s more, we’re putting on a special preview screening, exclusively for Den Of Geek readers!
Interested?
The details, then!
The date for the screening is Thursday 19th July, with a 6 for 6.30pm start. The nearest tube station to the screening room will be Tottenham Court Road or Goodge Street.
Here’s the important bit: We don’t charge for these screenings, but please do not treat this as a competition. Please apply for a seat only if you can use it. We will try and accommodate requests for more than one seat, but please understand we expect this to fill up very quickly!
If we’ve not managed to put you off, then need to head to Twitter to apply for a seat (let us know if you need more, but please be aware we’re expecting this screening to be full!). Send a Tweet that reads:
Please can I have x seats for #HotelArtemis @denofgeek, @warnerbrosUK #HotelArtemisGeek. [Optional bit: I want to check in under the codename XXXXXX – we’ll have a prize on the night for our favourite codename]
[We’ll try and accommodate requests for more than 2 seats, but it’s not always easy!]
We will start getting in touch with people on Tuesday to allocate seats – so make sure you check your Twitter direct messages! Note that you need to be following us, or we can’t get in touch. Please note: you need to be at least 15 years old.
Thank you!
