Whilst the post-mortem continues over its surprisingly low box office total, those who simply enjoyed Solo: A Star Wars Story and fancy seeing it again don’t actually have too long to wait.
According to The Digital Bits, whose record on street dates is generally very strong, Disney and Lucasfilm are preparing the film for a late September disc release in the US. DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray versions are planned, with the US street date set to be 25th September.
Expect the download version of the film to be on sale in all the usual places a week or two prior to that. Furthermore, we’d expect the UK release dates to be there or thereabouts too.
No formal announcement has thus far been made by Disney, but when we get one, we’ll pass the details on. That should also include full details of extra features.
