Here's the theme tune to Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…

In September Nickelodeon will be launching Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

Here at Den of Geek, we’ve been sobbing heavily, deeply and snottily ever since the wonderful 2012 version of the show ended earlier this year. We look dreadful and our spouses and partners are running out of patience with us. It’s been months.

Luckily for us, promo for Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is starting to gear up, lifting our spirits and nudging us back into ninja training. The series is being executive produced by Andy Suriano and Ant Ward, and their Turtles will be voiced by Omar Benson Miller (Raphael), Ben Schwarz (Leonardo), Josh Brener (Donatello) and Brandon Mychal Smith (Michelangelo).

We’re expecting some new info on the show to come out of SDCC this year, where Nickelodeon will be hosting a Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event.

Ahead of that, though, they’ve released the opening to the show, complete with new theme song.

It sounds good to us. The show looks colourful, frantic and fun. It’s certainly different, but then few franchises have shown themselves to be so malleable and able to thrive in change as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. More than anything, though, the last Nickelodeon Turtles show was so good that we’re excited to see what they’ve got coming next.

Be sure to check back for more on Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as we get it.
