It's looking like Ryan Reynolds will be swearing in your home again this August, as Deadpool 2 disc release date rumours surface…

With over $500m banked so far, Deadpool 2 isn’t at the box office level of the original yet, but it’s certainly well on its way there. The Ryan Reynolds-headlined movie is still widely playing in cinemas around the world, and is likely to be there for a good few weeks yet.

However, plans are also being put in place for its disc release, with the movie earmarked for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray later in the year. And according to the fine folks over at The Digital Bits, the American disc release is currently being lined up for August 21st.

That hasn’t been officially confirmed by Fox as of yet, although The Digital Bits is usually a very good source on street dates. Furthermore, it’s likely that an on-demand release will arrive a week or two before that.

We’d expect the UK release date for the movie to fall roughly in line with that as well. And as we hear more, we’ll keep you posted.
