Don your speculation hat to see whether this Supernatural fan-favourite character hinted at a season 14 return at May's MCM Comic-Con…

Felicia Day has been teasing where fans might see her next on screen, talking to the audience at MCM Comic-Con about doing more writing and acting work in 2018.

Alongside confirming her return to Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and The Magicians next season, she hinted that another series might be welcoming her back: “There are a couple of shows that might have me back in the fall that I can’t talk about because I don’t want to spoil anything for anybody.”

Of course Day is very prolific, but Supernatural fans could easily take this to mean the actress is set to return as some version of her character Charlie Bradbury in season 14 – which would certainly call for trepidation around spoilers at such a geek-filled event.

Day already returned to the show in season 13 as an Apocalypse World version of Charlie, after the original character was killed off in season 10 to much fan outrage.

Day also spoke about her work in the Whedonverse, expressing the hope that the cast of Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog could reunite for a tenth anniversary panel despite everyone being “very busy and fancy now, including me”.

And though no follow-up is currently being planned, Day would be keen to reprise her role if it ever happened, adding: “If they make a sequel without a little in it Penny, I’d be crying.”
