The BBC's Sunday night Cornish drama Poldark will return for at least one more series after the forthcoming fourth run…

Tis right, tis fit and tis proper – Poldark will be back for series five. Find your moodiest clifftop and begin gazing meaningfully out to sea forthwith!

Eleanor Tomlinson, who plays heroine Demelza in the BBC’s Poldark announced the good newsat a special preview screening of the series four premiere held last night at London’s BFI Southbank.

Tomlinson was unable to attend the launch due to filming commitments up north on Peter Harness’ War Of The Worlds adaptation for the BBC, hence the video message which you can see in the Tweet below:

While no official air date has been announced, the smart money says that Poldark series four is due to start in early June on BBC One.
