A film that ended up being a long time coming, Maze Runner: The Death Cure took an unscheduled year-long break mid-production after its rising star, Dylan O’Brien, became involved in a horrific accident on set that left him hospitalised and needing some serious recovery time.
Eventually, he returned to good health – and to the central role of Thomas – and he, Thomas Brodie Sangster (Newt) and Kaya Scodelario (Teresa) finally gave us that last quest in the franchise, rounding out the Maze Runner trilogy on the big screen once and for all.
If you’re now looking to complete your three-film collection at home, we’ve got some good news for you: Maze Runner: The Death Cure will be available digitally from 21st May here in the UK, and on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD on 28th May.
So pop that in your diaries, Maze Runner junkies!
