Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrived just before Christmas, clutching its lightsaber with a firm grip and slicing the dedicated Star Wars fan base right down the middle.
A masterpiece, a misstep, a thing that was just ok…what is there to say that hasn’t already been said in a thousand thinkpieces? It certainly got people talking, and the debate rages on. Putting the reviews and opinions to one side, the film still made a whole bunch of money, and now it’s heading for its home release here in the UK.
The Last Jedi will be released on 9th April on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and 4K UHD, and there’ll be limited edition sleeves available in certain shops and online stores, including First Order and Resistance designs. We’re still waiting on a digital date, and we’ll bring that to you as soon as we have it, but since it’s set for 13th March in the US, we’d expect it to be up to a fortnight before the physical release in April here.
Pre-orders are now open at Amazon, if that happens to be your dealer of choice.
