A late surprise for this year's FrightFest: Victor Crowley is getting its European premiere!

An unmissable celebration of genre cinema kicks off in London on Thursday night, as the annual Horror Channel FrightFest begins. As always, it plays host to an enviable collection of premieres, and another has just been announced.

Director Adam Green will, it’s been revealed, be presenting his reboot of the Hatchet movie series. The new film is called Victor Crowley, and tickets are on sale for the screening now. It’s showing on Saturday August 26th – this Saturday! – at the Cineworld Leicester Square.

The film’s synopsis reads:

Set a decade after the events of the series’ first three films, VICTOR CROWLEY reunites Hatchet mainstays Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th 7 – X’s Jason Voorhees) and Parry Shen (Better Luck Tomorrow) for an all-new, horrifying journey into the haunted, blood-drenched bayou.

The movie was previously billed in the Horror Channel FrightFest programmer as ‘Hatchet 10th Anniversary Celebration’. Turns out it’s going to be quite the celebration, with the European premiere of the fourth film in the series!
