The future of the Star Wars movies is so far mapped out as far as 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX. Beyond that, we know that Lucasfilm will release an anthology film in 2020, and the smart money right now is on that being the long-mooted Obi-Wan Kenobi movie.
However, The Hollywood Reporter reckons that Lucasfilm is spinning a few more plates. In its report, it says that the firm is now also considering making spin-off movies centred about both Boba Fett and Yoda. A Boba Fett movie has been rumoured for a long time now, and Yoda’s name keeps popping up fairly regularly.
These films will, as you might expect, sit outside the movies that tell the stories of the Skywalkers.
