In the long winter of our discontent (the year gap between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Secret Title We Don’t Know Yet) we could use a little distraction, and the fifth season of Avengers Assemble will do nicely, thangyaverrymuch.
After the Secret Wars-themed fourth season, the gang are now heading to Wakanda to help out T’Challa and Shuri in Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest. The pair are fighting off a Shadow Council incursion, and they’ll need as many superheroes in the game as possible, including their beautiful adopted son, Bucky.
We’ve now got a first season 5 trailer to embrace. “We’re practically family!” Tony tells T’Challa, before being challenged with “…what is my favourite colour?” Naturally, Iron Man shoots back with “I’m gonna go with…black?” Yes, this season is bringing the jokes, and we’ve certainly missed them.

James Mathis III will voice Black Panther in season 5, with Daisy Lightfoot playing Shuri, Scott Porter as Bucky Barnes, Keston John as Killmonger and Trevor Paul as Klau.
Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest will get underway on 23rd September on Disney XD.
