Its finally here. The long anticipated Avengers vs. X-Men #0 is the kick-off issue for a twelve issue maxi series and the second act of the Avenger’s Academy arc.
It provides two crucial background stories for the upcoming event. One is written by Jason Aaron and focuses on the X-Man’s Hope Summers, the other is about the recently returned Avenger The Scarlet Witch and is written by Brian Michael Bendis. Both stories are penciled by Frank Cho.
We managed to get a few copies, with more on the way. The first printing has already sold out at world wide distributors. The second printing with variant cover will come out in a few weeks.
“Having Avengers VS. X-Men #0 sell out the same day the book goes on sale is phenomenal. The excitement level around this event has been monumental, and now fans can finally experience the story that we’ve been waiting years to tell,” said Marvel Editor In Chief Axel Alonso. “For years, fans have been clamoring for the return of the Scarlet Witch and we’ve been hounded with questions at conventions asking about Hope’s role in the Marvel Universe…now they’ll get their answers.”
After this issue you can expect Avengers vs. X-Men #1, by Brian Michael Brendis with art by John Romita Jr.
