Get your red balloons ready: the second part of Stephen King’s IT is coming to the big screen in two years’ time.
The first half, as you probably know, has spent most of September shattering box office records. The new movie will keep director Andy Muschietti, with this time the focus being on The Losers Club as adults, determined to stop Pennywise the Clown.
Casting for the new movie hasn’t yet been announced, but we’d expect production to begin early next year. The new movie will also get an IMAX release on the film’s newly-announced release date of September 6th 2019.
More on IT: Chapter Two as we hear it. Chapter One should have crossed half a billion dollars at the global box office by the weekend.
