James Bond 25 is set for November 2019 – and Daniel Craig has finally confirmed he's in…

Barely an hour after we posted our original story (see below), Daniel Craig has now confirmed on Stephen Colbert’s TV show in the US that he will indeed be back to play James Bond 007 one more time. And this time, it does look as if it’s his final 007 outing. ““I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait”, he said.

Here’s the announcement clip…

And here’s our story from, er, an hour before this update…

Even though he’s now expected to sign up for at least one more James Bond adventure, Daniel Craig remains insistent that he’s not decided whether he’s returning for more.

The 25th James Bond has been formally announced, and will be released in November 2019. Craig is expected back for the film, but whilst promoting the upcoming Logan Lucky on Magic 106.7 in Boston, he said that “no decision has been made at the moment, there’s a lot of noise out there and nothing official has been confirmed and I’m not, like, holding out for more money or doing anything like that. It’s just all very personal decisions to be made at the moment”.

He added that “I know they’re desperate to get going and I would in theory love to do it, but there is no decision just yet”.

It’s clearly nearly make your mind up time, with production on the new film set to start probably early next year. That said, there’s still no director in place either, and it might just be that Craig wants all pieces in place before he publicly says yes.

More as we hear it…
