Revolution – A New J.J.Abrams Series
Former Lost and V actress, Elizabeth Mitchell, is joining the cast of the new J.J.Abrams and Eric Kripke series. The post-apocalyptic drama centers around survivors in a world in which all electronic devices and gadgets have stopped working. It results in the spread of rival militia’s and Abrams-esque mysteries.
Mitchell will play Rachel Matheson, mother of Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Danny (Graham Rogers), who is described as a beautiful and warm parent who’s terrified of the ordeal that her children will face as they navigate the dystopian world. Mitchell (Gia) will appear in flashbacks.
At the moment we can see the cast also includes Billy Burke (Twilight), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), Anna Lise Phillips (Home and Away), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Graham Rogers, JD Pardo (Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2), Zak Orth, Marie Howell, David Lyons (ER), Tim Guinee (The Good Wife) and Andrea Roth (Rescue Me).
Revolution premiers in the States September 17th. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for it to hit SA screens.
