More monsters, more Mille Bobby Brown in the first full Godzilla: King Of The Monsters trailer

The first full trailer for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters is upon us! Like, right upon us, with it’s giant feet stomping on our heads.

The sequel to Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla, which also exists within the expanded universe of Kong: Skull Island looks like an epic creature feature, with the environmental overtones which are key to the franchise. And in this new footage it looks like we’ll be meeting more kaiju than we’d previously expected (and we’d expected quite a few).

Directed by Michael Dougherty who made excellent Halloween horror Trick ‘r Treat, the movie features Stranger Things star Mille Bobby Brown as Madison Russell, daughter of Vera Farmiga’s Paleobiologist who gets kidnapped with her mum by shady company Monarch after the emergence of multiple “Titans” who will come head to head with Godzilla, including Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidora. Emma has worked out a way to communicate with the creatures and has a plan to stop the world being destroyed.

Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins and Charles Dance also feature in a trailer which is defintely going all out for scale.

Have a watch and share your thoughts in the comments.

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters is set to open on 31 May 2019.
